CLIMATE CHANGE THREATS TO GREAT BARRIER REEF

The Great Barrier Reef is one of the most stunning natural wonders on the planet.

A report quietly published by the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority has found that coral bleaching affected 91% of reefs surveyed along the Great Barrier Reef this year.

This is further evidence of the heartbreaking affects of climate change on our marine environment.

End Animal Testing (What is inside is more important than what's outside)

What’s inside is more important than what’s outside. 💗 Each year, over 133,000 rabbits are used in experiments in the US, and 10,000 in Britain. Rabbits are used for toxicology tests, for damage to skin, eyes and for effects on reproduction. A number of routes for dosing, including gavage (inserting a tube down the throat to pump products directly into the stomach), injections and rectal dosing. They also describe rabbits as “particularly useful” for skin and eye tests. Across the world, rabbits are still used in the 70-year old Draize Eye Irritancy test, due to their large eyes, low cost and availability.  Despite that the Draize test has been shown to be unreliable and advanced scientific replacements tests are available, it remains listed as a model for eye irritation. Investigations have exposed terrible suffering endured by rabbits in cosmetic testing, restrained in stocks while products were dripped into their eyes. SAVE WATER, SAVE LIFE.

After ruining the entire nature, we somehow manage to find sources for ourselves. But what about the other species who are also trying to survive around us?  Let's be kind, let's be responsible. Please think of everyone else around as well before ruining and wasting anything around you.. Art Credit: Awantha Artigala #savewater #savewildlife #climatechange #ClimateAction #geographytimes
